18' AGP Metal Frame

Is it fine to have a metal frame pool and a SWG? Just deciding how we want to upgrade. Also, our water is naturally hard as well as a high pH and TA.

Some people here will tell you otherwise, but I've used a SWG with my cheapo Intex pool for three years now, and it's holding up fine. There are a few places where some rust stains are beginning to appear, but there's no loss of structural integrity evident yet.



If it really bothered me I could spray paint it, but first of all, it's not that noticeable. And secondly, I plan to replace the pool after this season anyway because the liner is faded.
