How important is CH?

I have consistently run at 50 CH from the start. The calculator says I should be higher (150). My water is always clear, and everything seems fine. I fine tune chlorine and PH weekly. Should I add 10 lbs of calcium chloride, or leave well enough alone? What else gets affected by adding it?

It will climb over time with evaporation/refill but largely not a concern for vinyl, so I wold leave it alone. If you had plaster would suggest raising it.
