Great white vacuum(GW9500) lift spring - where to buy cheap

Hi, need the spring(GW9522) and I see it for no less than $15. I know $15 is not a lot, but it kills me to pay this for a simple spring. Has anyone matched one at a home depot or lowes? Anywhere else I might be able to pick up a simple, comparable spring?

My local True Value hardware stores has a good variety of springs. Worth a look if you have one local.

update - found them at lowes 4x for $2.97, needed to use two do to length, but work fine....
