Cloudy Pool for Days Won't hold Chlorine

PLEASE HELP!

We have a 15 x 30 AG Pool with a cartridge filter. The PH and AK levels are good but our pool will not hold chlorine. It is cloudy and we cannot see the bottom.

Last night we poured in 3 gallons of liquid chlorine the readings this morning for chlorine were still zero and the bottom of the pool had dark partials.

Should we drain or add more chemicals. PLEASE HELP!!

other than the 3 gallons of bleach what else have you added?
