We have done nothing but struggle with our 22,000 gallons in ground pool this year. Opened it to it being brown on every surface the water touched. We bought the house in 2009. The liner is in desperate need of replacement and we plan on doing that next March. We used acerbic acid got rid of the stain but the water is cloudy. We have gone from one issue to another. Thankful for a forum to discuss pool concerns.
This has been the worst opening season for our pool. :(

Pour 1 gallon of 10% bleach/liquid chlorine from walmart pool isle every day until you get your test kit next week, brush your pool after you add the bleach..
