We got a pool last year with the house, a splash omega 20ft pool.
From what I can tell the pool doesn't have a skimmer on it, and the previous owner mentioned he would basically run a manual vacuum with his foot as he was in the pool.
I want to get a bit less involved than that with cleaning the pool, so I have been looking at a variety of pool cleaners, basically aqua bugs, etc.
My concern is this, I am not sure how I would hook these up when my pool doesn't have a skimmer?
Initially I thought I would plug it in to the bottom which I beleive is called an "intake" from what I can gather from the manual. There is like an adapter peice there right now that I believe the previous owner used.
But, I would prefer not having to crawl into the pool every time I want to do this.
Could I just plug the line directly into the intake portion of the filtration pump itself?
looks like this except its black:
Or, is it better to just get a skimmer?
