BigEinAZ thanks for the advice. The wall isn't necessarily a retaining wall but more of a sitting wall. I just got quoted $8000 for the wall alone. If I set each post with 8" sonotubes 24" in the ground down to the depth of my pool and concrete collar I believe that may be sufficient. I'd like to wrap the surround with cement board then cap it with a composite board somehow then use veneer for the wall. I'm sure I can come in way cheaper then what was quoted. Do you think this set up would be strong enough for sitting and water resistant to stand the elements?
