Adhesive required when replacing key seal?

Hi, my Hayward filter is one of the ones where you can only buy the spider gasket already glued into the key seal. When replacing the gasket alone, you would normally use some kind of gasket goo. Before I go ahead and take it apart, will I be needing any adhesive or sealer, of just mount the new key seal assembly as is?

Pretty sure you just have to install the new assembly. No glue required.
