I have been given a 24 x 12 intex above ground rectangle pool. the only thing wrong is where the poles go in on the long side the daughter cut the seam about 2 ft the place that holds the poles to make the rail. everything else is good. Do you think I can repair by using glue heavy duty tape? Or will it effect how the pool holds up? I don't have any pic sorry. just looking for ideas and wondering if it is now trash
