Hi All -
Today I am in the process of draining my pool. I really need advice on whether I should do an acid wash and probably bead blasting of tile while the pool is empty.
Doing some reading on here it seems that an acid wash will lessen the life of the pebble-tec?
However, I've also read that with patience and by following a certain method over time I can probably dissolve the build-up instead of an acid wash?
I'm just not sure if the trade off of an acid wash is worth it and I could really use some definitive advice. I've taken some photos at the link below. It's seems like a good amount of build-up and I believe it does cause some discomfort for swimmers if they rub against the wall or bottom of the pool.
I don't mind being patient and following a long-term chemical plan, but I also don't mind paying to have it done all at once.
Just not sure which direction to go.
Thanks in advance.
