Hi,
We have a new 16' x 40' fiberglass pool with salt system. I am using test strips to test the water and our chlorine level (both total & free) is very high, around 10 ppm. We decreased the salt system's output to its lowest setting and it did not help. Total hardness, alkalinity, and stabilizer are OK. The pH is about 7.8 so I added MA to lower it. Our swg is Jandy and it is on 24/7. Do I need to turn it off for a while to lower the chlorine level? Please advise.
Thanks.
