10 day SLAM - Cloudy water

Day 10 of SLAM process, water still cloudy. I’ve always used the SLAM process I found here with great success. This year I’m having issues. At least three tests and adds per day. Numerous vacuums and brushings. Thought I might have a filter problem. Pulled the multi port valve to discover sand level looks fine. Did a deep clean of the sand while I had it apart. All my equipment appears to be working fine. Vacuumed again tonight. Water looks more cloudy after vacuuming. Is that from stirring things up or is it possible my filter isn’t working correctly somehow and it’s putting the stuff from the bottom back into the pool? Latest test numbers:
CYA 30 (plan to add more later to get to 40)
FC 12
CC .4
PH 7.4
TA 120

Sand filters take more time to clear a pool. Have you done any OCLT tests? Results?

Do you have a ladder? Take it out and clean the tubes. Scrub behind the light? Scrub the skimmers? Check the weir doors for algae?

Try OCLT. It may be that you have passed FC loss and CC tests...it is now down to pool owner patience to get to clear water. Slam on!

Wife has been on my back to get it cleaned up for the holiday weekend so it’s been trying.
I get it. When I was "pool stored" and had to drain 60% of my water, I had the same pressure leading up to a 4th of July weekend. I slammed for 8 straight days (3 were do to algae in the ladder...didn't know it could be in the tubes). I slammed every two hours, 18 hours a day for 8 days straight. But as @Newdude says, I'm "extra."

The more you can test and add chlorine, the faster it will go.
