I have a 1/4 inch poly line that connects to an npt fitting screwed into a 1.5 inch pvc elbow on the pressure side of the pump, the line runs back to the top of the filter and ties in to air bleader valve. What is this line for?
Yes, that is what someone put on to keep spray from the air bleed inside the water system. Kind of dumb since there is nothing wrong with spraying water from the vent. In fact I do that every time I clean any part of my system and it sprays on my similarly painted wall. No biggie and you have a cartridge filter.
But it does not tie into the Vent output. If I open the vent it will either suck air or blow water out of the end of that valve on the top. This ties into a tee fitting that is usually and elbow to the pressure gauge. If I disconnect the line for the tee fitting and the pump is running then water will blow out of the 1/4" hose line. Do I need this?
