SLAM almost done - CYA too low for Salt Water Pool? + Maintaining after the SLAM
Hi, still a newbie, but thanks to TFP...finally figuring out how to get my pool in good order. Started with CYA just above 90, so exchanged large amount of water and ended up with a CYA just under 40, got pH to 7.2 and started the SLAM. Seems I am nearing the end of the SLAM. CAS Salt cell not working well - T-Cell9-U
I seem to be having trouble with my Salt cell. This is my 3rd summer with the new pool and haven’t had any problems with the Salt Cell up until now. Renewing salt test strip thread.
SWG read 1500 ppm Test strip read 2500 PPM I added 8 bags of salt to reach 3300 ppm from the 2500 reading Now strips read 5800 ppm which is 5.8 on the strip. And SWG is warning check salt at 2200. I read the old posts and most said trust the SWG or get the K-1766 kit. I've had faulty readings...- TheHomeGuru
