no psi

I have a recently installed Hayward pump. Changed the filter and now no PSI. The odd part is the cleaner pulses and the jets are flowing strong but PSI is only registering 5. I lubed the O rings. Baskets are clean. Water is flowing in the round cylinder thing that fills when the pump starts and...
