Pump on, Hayward heater off but still noisy.
With filter pump running but the Hayward H400 heater off a considerable water noise is heard at the heater header. This header noise just started after 13 years of use. It is not steam as the heater is off. I have a video so the sound can be heard but couldn't figure out how to attach it to this...- Dearoledad

Long metal stick in heater header where I removed drain plug
In Austin and out of fear of losing power, I pulled all the drains plugs I could, opened the diverters, and allowed the pool equipment to drain as best I could. As I finished unscrewing the drain plug in the heater header, I noticed this metal stick fall into the snow. What is it? Is it in...- russell2415
