    Pool Math........The App

I assume you mean it says on the TA tab "To lower TA you reduce pH to 7.0-7.2 and then aerate to increase pH"? Firstly, note that like it says on effects of adding acid, pH is approximate cause it's assuming a TA around 100 or so. If you pull open the pH tab, the amount of acid to lower pH to a...

    Pool Math........The App

It depends. I used to have Android, now I have an iPhone. Currently Apple requires payment via their store, but based on a lawsuit that is going to change soon I believe. There's also ways around it, depending on the application. For example, I have YouTube premium. This runs $11.99/month if you...

    Pool Math........The App

Google Play or Google Pay? The problem with weight to volume is you can estimate it, but dry products come in different sizes which means the same volume of one product is a different amount of the same volume of another product. I find a cheap kitchen scale works great for dry pool chemicals.

    Pool Math........The App

It’s there. Log adding a chemical, choose SWG as the chemical. EDIT. Oh I see it used to be under maintenance. They must have moved it to the chemical addition page at some point.

How Clear is TFP Clear? Let's See (Pics Only Please).

Repost after your switch. Then use it as a comparison for anybody here who uses Baquacil products to show them why they need to switch to chlorine!

    Pool Math........The App

Let me try those two images again. Something went wrong the first go.

    Pool Math........The App

If I hazard a guess, it’s because Effects of Adding is only a very rough approximation for pH calculations, which ties into your second question. On the Effects of Adding page note the warning listed at the bottom: My understanding is the Effects of Adding page does NOT link your latest...

How Clear is TFP Clear? Let's See (Pics Only Please).

We should! My water is melted on the edges too, but I've got at least 6" of ice. I tried to stick my hand below it to see but I couldn't reach far enough.

    Pool Math........The App

If you haven't yet, try going to the menu then About TFP, scroll down and click Restore Subscription. If that doesn't fix it Leebo will help (if he hasn't already).

    I need your help!

@Leebo all my pics are in personal albums here at TFP. Not sure any of them are what you're looking for (that you haven't already seen or used that is). One of these days my Intex will be landscaped around, and will be a good pic for Intex style pools...but "one of these days" is shaping up to...

App Issues with "Effects of Adding"

Interesting. That said, I never use the Effects of Adding for calculating my chlorine additions. Doing so is guess and check, and pointless when it has a section for calculating the special amount of chlorine to add. And this seems to work as expected for any concentration of bleach. For...

    Poolmath app - Saltron Mini

Suggest adding the Saltron Mini to the built-in list of SWCG on the app. Seems to be the most popular one for hot tubs. Output is 1.1 oz (32 grams) chlorine per day at 24 hrs runtime. I'm testing out logging a SWCG for the first time on my hot tub. I'd been using the SWCG but not logging on...

How Clear is TFP Clear? Let's See (Pics Only Please).

Just got the Intex Auto Cleaner in our pool this morning, by this evening it had cleared up most of the stuff on the bottom (still running when this pic was taken). Pool has been up for one month now.

    Help users find Liquid Chlorine

Now I can't read the descriptions when I click on pins. That said, if I search my zip, it does locate my listing, and then that's the only listing on the list below the map, so the description can be read there. Hmm. That reminded me that FireFox has new tracking prevention shields. But I...

    Help users find Liquid Chlorine

Shoot, I forgot to add that that was dated the 48th day of 2020, so it's really new stuff too. Scroll bar on discription is nice and works well, though on my Firefox/Linux combo at least I'm getting some weird text overlay at the location above the scroll box. The text overlay is the same in...

    Help users find Liquid Chlorine

Hey look, I typed in a zip code and this time it said "no results found" and then zoomed over to the zip code general area. I see this when I open the page now. I can click the one in Cincinnati or the two in Pittsburgh. Clicking Pittsburgh zooms in and I can click the two that then show up...

    Help users find Liquid Chlorine

I was on Windows 10 at the time, running FireFox. I just booted my Linux machine and I'll take a gander at it, again in Firefox.

    Help users find Liquid Chlorine

You are not kidding! I could not search for a ZIP, could not add a marker, and the only displayed marker had a blank box! So in other words...I couldn't use it at all. ?

    Getting to know us

Huh. I did not know you didn't own a pool! I guess that possibility never crossed my mind.
