That is funny because the side that disintegrated was the side exposed to the sun, and not the side exposed to chlorine (with 70ppm CYA). The seam was fine, and it was the back side of the bubbles that were falling off. I don't think the warranty said anything about chlorine level or being seam...

So after a bunch more research I ordered MasterSeal NP-1 for the pool coping/tile joint and Vulkem 45 SSL for the concrete expansion joints. I also ordered backer rod and Scotch 2060 masking tape for hard-to-stick surfaces. I will post updates one I start the project.

That is exactly what I did 4 years ago. Added 2000ppm for feel and a month later installed the SWG and bumped it up to 3000. In hindsight I should have just gone straight to SWG since I fought to get CYA down and ended up spending $$ to add it back in.

For the vertical coping application I have seen people mention: MasterSeal NP 1 (Formerly Sonolastic NP 1) Sikaflex 1a Vulkem 911 Vulkem 116 Deck-O-Seal One Step Any inputs on these as to best for this application, easiest to use, longest lasting, cheapest, etc? Any others?

Is it MasterSeal NP 1 Sealant (Formerly Sonolastic NP 1)?

Re: A couple of tips I thought everybody knew. Anybody got some I use a little fish net like you would use for goldfish. It is pretty fine and even gets tanning oil scum floating in the skimmer.

Jblizzle, I mixed the powder in a bucket first.., no issue. Much better than floating it on the surface, and didn't turn into cement like some powders do. Btw, what is Snoop Dog's favorite weather? Drizzle.
