    Yeah I think you gotta go with the numbers. Millions of pool lights and statistically almost no injuries. the water is way more dangerous than the light.

    Many localities in Florida have banned 120v and require 12v lights (the law is named after a kid who was electrocuted in a pool - ironically in a pool with a 12v light - can’t make that up).

    I am spec'ing out my electric, and for now I am not going with automation - I was looking at an intermatic 100 amp integrated panel with timer (i need a timer for the SWCG). Is this the way to go, or would it be better to use a standard sub panel and then install a stand alone intermatic timer...
