Right there with you. I’ve already ordered replacement parts for things that I know were broken as we drained everything in a panic (heater plug, valve assembly, and at least one backflow valve that was faulty before all of this mess). Just hoping for the best and we’ll see what the damage is...

I did remove some check valves earlier last week when we had a freezing issue. Last night, the ice was starting to form in the pump only. Hope you were able to thaw some of it.

Exact same issue here a few days ago. I’m going to make sure to bypass those actuators if it gets cold (next year...we had to drain last night). I’m also going to start researching pool covers because closing the pool is looking better and better.

You might still be able to do that. The water emptied out of the basket but nothing came out of the slushy pump so I put the basket drain plug back in and poured warm (I was afraid to pour super hot water so just fairly warm from the tap) water. It took a minute or two and all that drained out...
