What's the issue with a cord across the deck? I do it all the time with my cleaner.

Robot help - fine dirt and some leaves

I just bought a no frills Aquabot Breeze 4WD. I used it a couple times before I closed the pool and it worked great. It was $700. I bought it online. It has 2 top loading baskets with a cartridge type filter. The baskets are fairly big and it will scoop up quite a few leaves and debris. It has a...

    Bag or Cartridge filter

Ok. Thanks for the link, that helps. Seems like if the pool was pretty dirty of more than a few leaves, you would have to stop and dump out the cartridges more often than a larger bag. But it looks like more cleaners are going the cartridge route. On another note, it seems like the Dolphin line...

    Bag or Cartridge filter

I was leaning toward the Dophin myself. I still have the question about where the debris collects. I get the cartridge acts like the bag in that it allows water to pass through but not the fine particles. My concern is where does the larger debris get deposited? Leaves, mulch, hair, pollen...

    Bag or Cartridge filter

So after 5 years my Aquabot T2 finally bit the dust. Transformer is gone and the pump was starting to go as well, so i'm in the market for a new one. I've done some research but there are so many cleaners out there it's almost impossible to pick one. What I've noticed is most of the lines for...

    recommend good robotic pool cleaner

I have an Aquabot Turbo I like a lot. I got the remote. It's nice to have, as Jason said, to steer it if you need to. The Aquabot has a progammable run time as well.

    Is a pool cleaner necessary?

+1 on a robot. I have an Aquabot. Throw the thing in and let it run for about 3 hours, clean pool. Do I NEED one, no. But it makes life a little easier.

    Which robot should I get?

I have an Aquabot T2 and really like it. I think Dolphin's are ok too. You will find good and bad reviews on just about every robot out there, though.

    Techni-Clean Systems - in-floor pop-ups - simple, good?

Imagine that. Makes u go hhmmm? Seriously, are you set on getting an infloor system? A lot of posts I read on TFP are about problems and issues. That being said I'm sure there are a lot out there with no problems. Ever consider keeping your money for it in your pocket and get a good robot?

    Need help with Aquabot patterns

Only way I know to conduct an experiment is to do it. Put it in and see what happens? On an unrelated note, thats an awfully big pool for a 1/2 HP pump. How does it work out for you?

Roll call: What cleaner do you use? Are you happy with it?

    PLEASE HELP ME!

A salt water pool is a chlorine pool. The difference is that the chlorine is generated using sodium chloride rather than adding chlorine in the traditional way (i.e. granular, pucks, or liquid). The inline chlorinator is for loading up solid, stabilized chlorine pucks (looks like a hockey puck)...
