Why stop there? Build a robot garage in the pool wall that your little Tomatoa can crawl into when he's done cleaning. The Pebble matched garage door would completely conceal the opening. You could even give the little fellah a toilet to dispose of the waste... Completely hands off automated...

The beach entry will be fine. The robots won't go much shallower that 10" without reversing themselves. To be safe, it would probably be a good idea to watch the little guy for the first few swims to make sure he doesn't do anything silly.

The pool cleaner is perfectly fine to use right now. A pebble finish is much different than traditional plaster.... Fire it up

It should in 18". My shelf is 12" and the robot will not go on top of it. Any neighbors have one you can try? I consider the Maytronics (Dolphin) cleaners to be the best. Some have reported getting the S300i for right around $1000.

Yep that's it. The remote only gives you a few options as well.

I have the Z5 and love it, however if I could do it again I'd get the M5. It has a center brush that pretty much eliminates it from getting stuck, not that mine does but I have heard complaints from others about the Z5 hanging up on the drain covers.

Re: Pentair & SWCG Do you mean Paramount infloor cleaner? Most people run the cleaning cycle for 1-2 hours (or however long it takes) and then switch to the standard returns and spillway at a lower speed for efficiency while the SWG makes the chlorine.
