Do you take an average? When I do that, back to the sun, sample in my shadow at belt level vs. out of my shadow at belt level, I get a variance of 20 ppm....two completely different results.

Does the Ph typically read high or low under these circumstances, it is it just outright not valid. What about the other results?

In the mean time, can I shut off the chlorinator, stop using the sticks and dump in some bleach or liquid chlorine and hope for the best??? Or bad idea?

Is only brush and filter sufficient? Do I need to add chlorine or algaecide? Should the kids stay out of the pool?

My test numbers are above... Chlorine is actually a little higher for the given CYA in the chart.
