Still salt in water the next year???

I’m sorry if I’m confusing everyone. It’s because I’m confused!! Lol. The difference I see is if it has salt, the CYA levels need to be higher than without salt. Currently I’ve had my CYA at 50-60 and SLAMing accordingly. BUT if it DOES have salt it is not recommended to SLAM below 70 CYA. So...

Still salt in water the next year???

I understand this but I was going by the Chlorine/CYA chart on this TPF site. (See photo). If it is a salt water pool the CYA levels run higher which puts the SLAM level as higher. I’m trying to decide if my water STILL has residual salt in it from last year after adding so many fresh gallons...

Still salt in water the next year???

Ok so if we filled it back up with more than half fresh water it would still NOT be diluted?? Meaning the original salt is still at the same level? - - - Updated - - - Except with the level of CYA and the FC number are both kept higher with a SWG pool. Correct??

    Intex SWG with Copper question.

A HUGE Thank you to everyone for their feedback on this!!!!!! I think I'm leaning toward just a "new" model SWG and taking out the copper ionionzer....If in fact the copper does cause a lot of issues with the water.....Anyway, thanks again!!!!

    Intex SWG with Copper question.

dmanb 2b......I found the "2009" model through Amazon.com, sold by "CMS Worldwide sales".....I don't suppose that is the same company you bought your "older model" (or so you thought) from???? I'm just about to convert my pool to the SWG upon opening.....and have been told the 2009 model is the...
