It appears that you may have a bad unit. This has been encountered before. If it is still under warranty Intex will replace it.It has something to do with the electronics. Hope this helps.
some of the older models had a screen on the input side that gets clogged at times. you have take off the coupling before the flow switch to get to it.
Please read the manual again as it says 3000ppm is ideal 3600 for the high side. At 3580 you are real close to the high side and the strips often read +or- 250ppm.
You probably should do this with bleach as using that setting shortens the life of the unit. I was wondering if there was a reason that you do this. Are your cc's going above .5. If you haven't already read pool school about when to shock your pool. Peace
From what I have read,an ionizer,by it's self will not sanitize your water. So I would suggest the SWG. Welcome to the forum! Please take the time to read "Pool School". There is lots of good info to be had!
A bag of pellets took 15 minutes longer to dissolve than a bag of solar salt the other day. I didn't think that was too much of an inconvenience.
I don't call these "cheap" units. Lets call them inexpensive that for the money are a good little, self cleaning, replaceable ionization unit SWG. I am very pleased with mine
It appears that there is supposed to be solids in the bottom, that is one of the features-solids in the tank and not the pool.
Where did you purchase this?
