I have been using the Aquapure 1400 for the last 15 years and have gone thru numerous cells but other than that the system has been great. My current cell is bad (3years old) and I wanted to upgrade to the true clear or something newer but do not want to get away from the iaqualink technology...

Update - Added 80 lbs of salt and generator reading went to 3000. Did the test strip reading and it was exactly the same as the previous reading before the salt was added. Bottom line is the strips must be bad.

Salt cell is in its 10th month of use. I just cleaned the cell but it looked great. I cleaned the sensor also. I did notice that the band at the top of the test strip(aquacheck white) did not turn brown like they said it would. Are the strips bad? Expiration on them is 9/2010. I thought my salt...

My salt reading on aquapure is 2500 but aquacheck test strips say 3240. Which is more accurate and how do i calibrate aquapure if strips are correct ?

What about rock salt? i have tons left over from the winter and it looks the same. I also don't see any additives. Is it O.K. to use ?
