2 years later, I am finished!

I'm calling dibs on one of the bar stools. For a DIY you should get a DIY superman badge or something. Looks stunning.

Guy emptied his pool because he heard @Arizonarob was swinging by with his banana hammock in tow?

    The absolute best granite sealer

So got around to doing the shower. Not as impressed as I am with doing the granite. Seems to leave a white haze on the pebbles for some unknown reason (may have been application error). We'll leave it for now and just let it wear off over time.

    The absolute best granite sealer

Talked to the wife and we plan on doing our shower with the stuff because we get crazy amounts of hard water stuffs when the water evaporates so maybe it'll help. Floor and accent only...not doing the walls. This is what it looked like brand spanking new. It's now covered in a white haze...

    The absolute best granite sealer

Dry lint free cloth. Doesn't need to be completely gone. The wiping off of excess is for those types of stone that aren't as porous as say travertine or flag stone.

    The absolute best granite sealer

Thanks for the review @Katodude . We have granite and so far have very similar results as far as the water beading (or as they call it "pearling"). Haven't tried it on our flagstone coping yet but so far we're pretty impressed with the stuff. It is also supposed to be completely UV...

    The absolute best granite sealer

Per the manufacturer "Marble, granite, terrazzo, marble-agglomerate quartz-agglomeration, stone, limestone, sand stone." as quartzite is a natural stone, it should work quite well. Must be allowed to dry completely...recommended time is 24 hours. You can always test an inconspicuous spot on...

As far as I know XC gives a "wet look" and dark is for black colored stone. The Gold doesn't leave a "wet look" after application. There's a video on that page down a bit that shows it in action after application even on concrete.

Changed jobs recently from being a CFO in Healthcare to now being a CFO for a Granite company. We import our granite from Brazil and India. For those who have BBQ islands with granite/marble/quarztite this is the absolute best sealer on the planet...if you can find it. Better than anything...

    Craft beers!

VooDoo ranger is available in Aldi's and is very reasonably priced considering the other choices. Little over $1.00 per bottle. I LOVE IPAs. Local brewery makes a beer called "Stripper Dust". I'm nervous to bring it home as the wife may have an issue with the name. ;)

What did you do to your pool today?

PVC was two years ish old. Wiped it all down with mineral spirits, which dries pretty quickly in Texas, then painted away.

    What's your current pool temp?

We got a cheapo one from the dollar store. It's been working fine for the past two years and cost $2.00 (not sure why it was in the dollar store if it cost $2).

    What's your current pool temp?

90 yesterday and with expected temps in the 100-110 range this weekend, should be about 1.2 million degrees come Sunday. Very, very refreshing. Probably make soft boiled eggs in the pool on Sunday if y'all want to come over.

What did you do to your pool today?

Fixed the bubbler actuator yesterday. For some reason on the toggle switch down was bubbler up and up was bubbler down. No idea why I hadn't realized this before.
