    Next Summer Upgrades!

They're supposed to, but I don't actually light them that often. I also have a dynatrap, so it's hard to say what's doing what. Haven't noticed many mosquitoes at all this year though

    Next Summer Upgrades!

This will be the greatest day of your pool ownership life. Once we were able to start using our SWCG it made TFPC almost too easy.

    Next Summer Upgrades!

2020-2021 was our build year, so alot of one-time expenses. Next year we'll work toward fulfilling our vision around the pool. Top of my list is to add a gazebo/outdoor living space similar to the one below. I plan on getting started early spring so it's all set up by the time we start...

    What's your robot's name?

Meet Howie. Named after the Philadelphia Eagles GM who also sucks.

    I Love TFP But...

Maybe your last SWG worked but may have been a little undersized for your pool? I'm still playing with mine trying to figure out optimum operation, but I love everything it has to offer so far.

    Polywood Furniture

One of my end tables didn't come with hardware. Polywood sent a set right out, but still frustrating after already waiting months for the furniture to have to wait again for hardware.

    I Love TFP But...

If I was adding a gallon per week that wouldn't be bad at all. I was closer to a gallon every 2.5 days, sometimes more. It's not uncommon for us to have 10+ swimmers at a time.

    I Love TFP But...

I had to travel for work in May before we were using our SWG, and due to poor planning was trying to grab LC the night before my flight so my wife would have it on hand to use while I'm away. Nobody had liquid chlorine in stock. I drove to every Walmart, HD, and Lowes within 10 miles of my house...

    I Love TFP But...

One of the biggest inconveniences for me with LC was the constant yo-yo'ing between the upper/lower limits of my range... nice and high after an addition and near the low end 24 hrs later or especially after having alot of swimmers in the pool. Now with my SWG I stay consistent pretty much all...

    I Love TFP But...

...I have no idea how those without a SWG do it. I couldn't use mine for the first 30 days after plaster, so I was manually dosing with liquid chlorine as many of you do. It wasn't the worst thing in the world, but man do I LOVE the convenience of my SWG these past few weeks. No more dragging...

What does your pool paradise look like?

It's the splash & shoot made by dunnrite. Very happy with it. https://dunnriteproducts.com/splash-shoot-clear/

Coming chlorine shortage? - It is Here!

It must just be a PA thing for some reason. As of yesterday, still no liquid chlorine at HD or Lowes. Didn't check Walmart, but they'd been out for several weeks the last time I looked. Pool store had 12.5% though.

    Favorite Pool Toys?

We got something similar but not exactly the same. https://www.mashballgame.com/ Haven't had a chance to play in the pool yet (it floats), but it was instantly our favorite game as soon as we got it. Good to play indoors when the weather isn't as nice also.

Official 2021 BBQ, Smoking, Grilling, Baking and Beer thread

I'm a huge fan, live about 35 min drive from them. Unfortunately haven't had many opportunities to get over there since they went on their recent DDH tear, but I've heard the DDH AC variants are some of their best work to date.

    Polywood Furniture

Everything showed up yesterday except the hardware for one of the side tables, so I need to reach out to Polywood about that. I love it, though. Fits the space nicely.

    Polywood Furniture

My ship dates were extended a few days ago as well. Went from 5/3 - 5/10 pushed out to 5/17 - 5/24. Then today I received notification that my order shipped...a week before the earliest date I was originally provided.

    Polywood Furniture

Just ordered 4 of these from Polywood after going back and forth over whether to order the model with the armrests or without. Went with no armrests but still have time to change my order. Any opinions on whether or not the armrests make a considerable difference for comfort or function?

    C-19 Vaccine-I got one

My wife (ICU nurse) just received her 2nd dose of the Pfizer vaccine last week. 1st dose she had a slightly sore arm. 2nd dose on a Friday afternoon and felt flu-ish for the weekend... mild fever, chills, and body aches.

    C-19 Vaccine-I got one

By getting it yourself now you'll be helping to protect your family members who have to wait to get theirs by eliminating yourself (hopefully) as a possible source of transmission
