Just an FYI for those using the Firefox browser. Hitting the ESC key while viewing a page will stop animated GIF files dead in their tracks. :) I often use it to stop the flashing "New Post" icons.

My bookmark is set to http://www.troublefreepool.com and connects instantly. Sounds like there is a problem with the DNS server that whoozer's ISP uses. Check out www.opendns.com for a possible solution. I've been using their DNS servers for 3-4 years now without a problem. :)
