    Old panty hose. I use the some nylon sleeve for drainage pipe. Had a roll from a project and just cut a piece when I need it.

    I had noticed this on mine also. I don't think the water circulates from the spa to pool very well. Every so often I turn the valves to empty the spa into the pool, then refill with pool water. Worked for me.

    Being in control of your pool is very satisfying. It may be better to lower your SWG output, let it run for the time your pump is on for a turnover of water.

    I use a white background, my house. Keep a white piece of paper 8 1/2x11 in the test kit.

    First test with new kit

    Your CC is high, shock with bleach until you hold FC over night and CC of .5 or less. The TA could be lowered, if you haven't read the article in Pool School its worth the info for lowering TA. You can turn off the SWCG during shock.

    Water keeps getting cloudy

    I see from the posts so far the people from NJ suggesting pollen. That was my cause of cloudy water a week ago. I had to backwash 3 days apart. Skimmer socks had 1/4" of pollen coating them a day.
