    Help, Spa blower Mystery

There are venturi in each of the jets. Sometimes scale or debris can cause blockage. So my question is has anyone removed and cleared the venturi. They would remove all the eyeballs, use a socket and extension to unscrew the venturi, run the pump and blower to clear everything out, then...

pool/hot tub connected to each other

I also have my spa at the same level as the pool. The wall that separates the two is seven feet long and the top of the wall sets at or only a fraction of an inch above the surface. It works out very well, and I like the look of it. For a water feature a fountain was plumbed into the center...

    Removing Spa's Air blower

I have a spa with no blower. The pool builder felt that it was not needed due to the fact that my spa water is at the same height as the pool and its a short run. I added a Jandy valve to the air supply so that I could close off the air to allow the spa to heat quicker. It all works well, but...

in ground spa - heater question

If you just install a couple valve actuators, you can just have a remote control. One push of a button and the spa is ready to use in about 1/2 hour. One more push and it all switches back. That's how mine is setup and it works well. Keeping an inground spa hot 24/7 to use a couple time a...

    Spa Valves

When pump is running, always move valves slowly and it's OK. Just never quickly flip a valve from one setting to another, it can cause water hammer.

Is this spa behavior normal (difficult heating when cold)

Re: Is this spa behavior normal (difficult heating when cold Make sure to turn the air supply off while preheating the spa. That cuts that time to heat it by about half in colder weather. Blowing cold air through the water you are trying to heat is counter productive. I can bring my 7x7...

    Spa size?

My spa is a square 7 x 7 with benches on all four sides and two jets on each of three of the walls. The square shape gives plenty of room for six. If the opposite wall were much closer the leg well would become a bit crowded. An oval shape to work as well would need to be something near 6 x...
