2005 Hot Springs Vista, Problem with flashing power and ready lights. No Heat. Help please!

Current water temp is 95 degrees. Spa is in full sun all day with the cover on and maintaining 90-95 degrees with no heater. I did reset power after jumping the pressure switch. I also tried pulling the jumper while it had power and it gave me the double flashing lights, re-jumpered and it...

2005 Hot Springs Vista, Problem with flashing power and ready lights. No Heat. Help please!

Thank you for helping out. After checking a few things here's what I found. If I jumper the pressure switch with the temp set below current water temp, I get a steady power light and everything looks normal. When I start to run the temp up, the ready light comes on when its within 2 degrees of...

2005 Hot Springs Vista, Problem with flashing power and ready lights. No Heat. Help please!

Purchased a new home last winter with this hot tub. Nothing but problems from the start. Previous owner said everything worked. First the keypad went out and the system defaulted to 80 degrees. Spa ran like this through the winter (heated at 80 degrees). Early spring the recirc pump failed so I...

Looking for a Hot Spring 73225 control head for an older spa (2005).

Thanks everyone. I found a new control head with a switch panel on ebay for a good price. It should be here in a day or so. Hopefully that solves my issues. Doing an Ahh-Some treatment while I wait for parts.

Need your thoughts on a 2008 Hot Spring Vista Spa

Good news and bad news. It took me two days to get the temp below 80. I replaced 1 ft of hot water with cold water and then left the cover off. Water got down to 75 degrees. I turned the spa back on and the heater light came on. Checked H1 and H2 and got 246v. That's the good news. Bad news is...

OK thanks. Tomorrow I'll lower the temp to test the heater. If the heater works then the only thing left to test will be the control panel and board.

This "H" thing is messing with me. I know that 1, 2, 3, 4 should have voltage all the time. What about H1 and H2 (the output side) going to the heater?

Need your thoughts on a 2008 Hot Spring Vista Spa

Do you know if H1 and H2 would have voltage all the time or just when the heater is being called on. I see that the control panel is separate from the control board behind it. I'm wondering at this point if one of those is faulty. That would explain the buttons not working and maybe the heater...

Think I found an error. Just looking over this and I think I did this wrong. I checked from the "H" terminal like you posted. You posted: I believe it should have been: 1 to 3 should be 230v 2 to 4 should be 230v 5 to all other terminals should be 120v The voltages should be whats...

The only fuse I saw was the circulation fuse, since it was running fine I didn't mess with it but I'll pop it out tomorrow and test it to make sure. I think I'll pull the relay board out so I can inspect the back side of it as well.

When I power up the spa the "LIM OK" and the "Control Unplugged" light come on as well as a red light in the center of the board. The red light and the "Control Unplugged" turn off immediately and only the "Lim ok" light stays on. The "HTR ON" light never blinks or comes on. I dont believe its...

Just so I understand, measuring voltage across H1 to H2 should show nothing? Or are you saying that checking each one individually to a ground should get nothing?

I checked H1 to H2 expecting 220v and got nothing, I then checked each to the ground and got nothing. I'll check the fuse tomorrow. I didn't know there was one but I see it now. I'll also check the breakers for voltage. The circulation pump seems to be running. I can hear it and I see...

I have a volt meter and here is a pic of the inside cover. Just to catch up. The heater was working 2-3 weeks ago. When I trip the breaker, the panel comes on and shows 80°. The only button that responds is the “clean” button. The rest do nothing. I’m going to check the water temp tomorrow to...
