Pool dig has started. Ended up going with a 5x8 sunledge 17" deep so 12"+/- of water in it. Some pictures of day 1 and 2.

I agree. The 11" can be more or less to suit my needs (just as long as its not below the skimmer. Im opting for deeper so there is a little more than just getting those feet wet. Hopefully the little ones can have another splash area when they are young and we can have a sitting area in water...

New build starting soon. Its happening. Last minute option thoughts?

Sorry for the delay. This was my thought and is my current layout. Still waiting for a quote back but might want to make this 5x8 so I can fit two lounge chairs in facing the water edge. This would be one single concrete reinforced step 17" deep which will hold about a foot or less of water. I...

New build starting soon. Its happening. Last minute option thoughts?

Hi all. Got a little more money than I had planned and want to add a little something different to my pool. Also the construction is likely delayed 2-4 weeks due to the 18" of snow I am getting. Little info. Upstate NY 14x32 (smaller yard, best size) Vinyl on steel 6" radius rectangle 4x8"...

    Off center stairs, any advice

Your pool looks fantastic! I dont think, however this is the same thing. Im talking about the actual pool steps which are vinyl lined steps being attached to the right side of the length of the pool vs the traditional centered. Not quite the same but ill trade pools if you want ;p

    Off center stairs, any advice

Months away from pool build 14x32 vinyl. I really think I want the stairs (vinyl lined steel 8") off center on the short end. This means it will not be symmetrical. Anyone do it this way? How do you think it will look? Pool builder said it looked different in others but didnt think it looked...

Deciding on pool finishes, let me hear your thoughts

Yes steel steps (with poured concrete) covered by liner. Im also thinking of having the pool steps offset on the end of the pool. Most people have the steps centered but I was thinking having it cornered And yes im talking external stairs.

Deciding on pool finishes, let me hear your thoughts

So we have narrowed it down to about 2 pool builders. I can get one to match the other but they have slightly different options. Both are reputable and have been building pools since the early to late 80s. Building a 14x32" pool, vinyl with 7' deep and 13' shallow end. Liners - Do I need 27mil...
