Except I forgot to mention I have a single speed pump. We use the pool quite a lot. So having plenty of force to keep the skimmer fed is not a bad electric bill tradeoff.

Correct. Out of the top of the sand filter... then 90 down to the SWG cell housing which requires a 90 left and then a 90 after to go back downward into the check valve. Don't have pics of the rest at the moment. I'm busy setting up a bunch of showings for tomorrow. I'm a real estate agent...

I had a feeling. Kind of hard to imagine someone could sell you a check valve that doesn't work at relatively low pressure and 50 GPM or so. But live and learn I suppose. Thanks!

Good question. I rarely check for CCs in the pool water unless I have good reason. There's almost never a trace in this outdoor, saltwater pool. But I'd still say I leave it out about the same. And I'm guessing my 15 seconds is generous. May be more like 5 before it goes from crystal clear...
