Crazy!! When I saw that pool I googled it, One report was " the alkalinity was low, yea right, I said. Looked at another news site said the Ph as out of balance and could cause pool to turn green LoL. A pool on the worlds stage, and they can't add enough sanitizer??

I thought I was up wind, it was very clam, no breeze. Fumes just drifted up, which is why I could see the cloud of fumes, (I guess anyway). Pouring into container is probably what caused all the fumes. As suggested, no more measuring for me!

Well, yet another first for my pool ownership. Just added Muratic acid to pool and when pouring into measuring cup, 1 quart version, then into water slowly, long enough for fumes to make it up to my nose! I was holding my breath, not long enough obviously because I was doing this all "slowly" as...

The water temp down to 58, air temp that night went down to low 30s and pump kicked on. Sorry for the confusion

If you look at the back of your skimmers you may see a hole in back of one of them, if plumed correctly it is an overflow drain and will drain water when it rises to and above that hole, of course during a major down pour it probably won't drain fast enough and your pump would lower level much...

Down to 58 and noticed my freeze protection on pump timer kicked in last night as I noticed pump running early in morning. Another first for my new pool! going to be a long winter...

Down to 69 here in NC, I plan on keeping it open all winter, first winter with my pool. I'm sitting by pool now, still new to it and I like looking at it!

My pool is in great shape as I've been adding 1quart of bleach daily keeping FC at about 5. I just added today's dose and thought what about adding 2 quarts now, will that be enough for 2 days and just add bleach every other day? Or even 3 quarts for 3 days etc. Thanks all Steve

Mine was doing circles in the deep end, reduced water pressure, problem solved
