OK,now we are getting somewhere!! This morning my FC was 18 (20 shock level) and my CC was .50.... almost there. The clarity is no better than the earlier posted pictures. Do you think I should use something to clarify once the chemistry is fixed?

I am a brand new pool owner and I think I have some mustard algae in my pool after going on vacation for a week. Is there any way to vacuum out algae/dead algae without passing it out through my cartridge filter?
