    Should 3lbs of CYA disintegrate out of a sock in 3 hours? or should it take longer? Had the sock full of CYA in the pool for ~3 hrs and it is almost empty....maybe 3/4 lb left?!?!

    Got the CYA in a sock hanging right in front of the return. Will be adding some bleach this evening as soon as the sun goes down. Will keep you posted! Thanks

    Should I start adding bleach to the pool ASAP? Based on the "Bens Best Guess Chart" it looks like I should maintain 12-15 ppm to shock my pool, which looks like I should start off with 3 gallons of 6% to reach that. Also, If I should start adding the bleach, should I wait until this evening...
