My Aquabot does great with everything, including leaves.

Any of the Aquabots will a very good bang for your buck.

FL is one of the cheapest states for weekly pool maint. You could get someone for $60-75 per month including chems.

The fill around my Foxx pool was the dirt they dug out. There has been settling over the first 5 years but we just put gravel and a couple times, concrete in the holes. The concrete walkway never moved or cracked.

Did not even know that Fox was still around....:-) Put in a Fox 27 years ago......back filled 2 days after assembly and poured concrete one week later. It is the only concrete left on the property. Replaced all with pavers and the concrete around the pool does not even have any cracks. Go...

Never had the JR. Had 4 of the regular ones including 3 turbo's and have been the best time saver ever. Except for the weekly pool service in FL.....:-)

Sorry.....the spa. Put the heater on for the pool to see if it would move.....Jan.... 1 or 2 hours...did not increase 1 degree.....:-)

In my limited opinion, 6' (which I own) will definitely be crowded with 4 people. I would go 8' and feel much better. I have had 3 guys in the spa and it's not bad but the step into the spa takes up the room for a fourth person.

Took me about the same time last week to heat the spa from 68 - 104. I kidded with my pool guy that to heat the pool would take until April. Since I had some time and as my wife said, "some extra money", I turned the spa off and the pool water was 68 and I turned the HP on for the pool. I ran...

I have a Meyco. Pool built in '84. Rains/snows every year. Never drain or do anything. Open in the Spring.....usually pump water out while vacuuming and add chemicals and have never had any algae or anything more than some silt in the bottom.

Unless you are under screen........lanai............you will need a cleaner.........skimmer type or robotic.

I hate it. Aquabot........or Dolphin (lousy service).......both, the best in IG pool cleaning.

Hate to burst anyone's bubble but salt (sodium chloride) has magnesium and potassium as part of the analysis.

Did not even look at your specs because you gave no price. But, 6' spa is good for 3 normal adults without stretching out. Pump: 1 hp should be plenty. That's all I can contribute.

Pool last Friday was 68 degrees. HP turned on and 4 hours later 103. Dec. 15th pool 72.....1 hour 102 degrees. Outside temps: Jan. 70 Dec. 76

When we used to open our pool May 1st and close around the 2nd week in October, we found very minimal increases in gas charges and we live in NJ. We would heat our water from a usual temp of 58 to 84 in about 18-20 hours. We would keep the temps at around 84 for the duration of the pool...

At the point of being named a "spammer" of Aquabot, I will again say, "save the money and time" and buy a Aquabot or Dolphin. I used a skimmer suction cleaner for 2 years and it was nothing but trouble and cleaning of the filter. Buy a robotic cleaner and save yourself tons of time and effort.

I have to again rec the Aquabot. NJ have had 4 (traded in the old ones) and they get everything was large sticks or limbs. The Dolphin is more expensive but same principle. FL.....in floor but screened in lanai.
