    Jacuzzi branded Emerson 1.5hp motor. Put the power to it...buzzzzz, 20A breaker trips. Put the power to it and spin the shaft with a screwdriver in the slot at the back...Runs fine. WTF?

    Sorry, fogot to mention you are going to need sandbags to hold the shallow end of the liner in place too as you fill/stretch the deep end.

    Did mine just as you described but with a 1 ft ledge. Used the pier block method from Arthur's for the buttresses where I removed the cross straps. http://www.arthurspools.com/exliner.htm Gigantic PITA but it works. Also used (roughly) the dimensions from here...

    Are all Jacuzzi sand filter laterals the same. Can't find my model online but I happen to have a smaller tank. Can I replace laterals between models?
