I knew it was an older system, but it appears that parts are more readily available than they are for my currant filter. I also live on a gravel road and from what I have seen the DE filters do a better job of filtering than a sand filter. Am I correct on that?

ok, next question. I am unsure of the model of valve I have. The tank says it is a 160ss. is there any way I can find out the type of valve I have and what laterals I need?

I have a Jacuzzi sand filter, model ss160, that I need to replace the laterals, and possibly the spider gasket as well. Does anyone know where I can get the parts for this filter, or will hayward parts work in it. Thank You so much, William
