What type filter do you have? Sand, Cartridge, and DE are the main ones. With Intex it's probably cartridge unless you have bought a new one.

Baking soda raises PH and your' s looks high to me. Click on the Pool School and read Pool Chemistry that is were I have been looking.

Did you know 1 1/2 inches isn't always 1 1/2 inches. I even took the hose that need replacing with me still didn't quit fit.

New question? When would be a good time to begin adding DE to the sand filter now or after the pool is clean? About how much does doing this add to your monthly operating coasts? Is the improved clarity and filtration worth any additional cost?

I baked myself vacuuming!!! gotta run get more bleach. Found Green in debris while vacuuming going to try and raise the chlorine level some more.
