SLAMing plaster pool, too much chlorine?
Is there such a thing as adding too much chlorine in a plaster pool during a slam? The recommended slam level I got from the poolcalc was 20 (CYA is 50) for my roughly 23K pool. PH is 7.6 and total alkalinity is 90 if that's relevant. My pool is pretty green and I've been scooping/brushing...- Melott

Need help IDing skimmer
New pool owner here. Just bought this house with a roughly 40-50 year old pool, and I'm still working on learning all there is to know to get it up and running. Previous owners were very unhelpful with info. First off, does anyone know what skimmer this is? And if it's missing parts? And...- Melott
