Short Heavy Duty Wire Corner Brush?

Both of those are cheap plastic and have nylon bristles. Looking for a heavy duty wire brush.

Short Heavy Duty Wire Corner Brush?

Anyone have a source for something like this? I have tons of corners in my pool with gunk buildup that regular brushes can't hit. Even the long curved ones don't help, because you can't force any pressure on the corner of the brush with out breaking it. Just looking for a short one, like this...

    Pump Run Times (too much?)

Hoping to get some input here. For 3.5 years (since it was built), my pump has been running on the same preset % and times that the builder set. I can't get them on the phone anymore to ask why those times/% were picked. I have friends and neighbors with pools that say my run times/% are...

Dolphin Z5 not climbing walls (not new)

I'm having the same issue with my 3.5 year old Z5. Did replacing the tracks (or anything else) help with the wall climbing?

Salt Level Reading Dropping - Pool has tons of salt

I did a full clean/acid wash of the filters and salt cell today. I've been running the pump on high for 6 hours and the salt level now shows 3200....up from 2200 this morning. Oh well, at least it's generating again and I don't have to go buy bleach tonight. We'll see how long this lasts.

Salt Level Reading Dropping - Pool has tons of salt

Yep, gonna do that tomorrow. Luckily, the T-15 has a 3 year warranty, so my pool co. has to replace it. They really hate me. They had to replace the pump after 1.2 years and now this. Guess I'll be dumping in bleach for a couple of weeks.

Salt Level Reading Dropping - Pool has tons of salt

I've done the Taylor test twice and followed the instructions to a T. The cell is a Hayward T-15, installed in August 2015.

Salt Level Reading Dropping - Pool has tons of salt

So the salt readout is showing 2400 and I'm getting warning flashes. It was also low in April, so I added a few bags with no change to the reading. I cleaned the filters and acid washed the cell. Once it was powered back up, the reading showed 4900! So I left it alone, but every other day I'd...

Salt pool - Low Chlorine Levels

Thanks, that's probably it. My water temp is between 50-60 most days. I didn't realize the SWG stopped producing chlorine at a certain temp. Can you adjust the temp threshold? I really don't want to go back to dumping bleach in the pool every other day.

Salt pool - Low Chlorine Levels

The initial salt pour was about 4 months ago and the pool is 5 months old. 26,500 gallons. The chlorine levels keep dropping to near nothing. I've turned the SWG system dial up from 50% to 60, then 70, then 80. I get higher chlorine levels for a few days, then it drops to nothing again. Do I...

    Winter Cover Recommendations

I'm really tired of scooping out 10 pounds of leaves every day so I need a cover for my new pool. Anyone have a good rec for a decently priced source? I see that Leslie's has a big selection, but their prices don't look all that great and I'd rather buy online and save on tax. I really don't...

Need to get some and have no idea what the markup is at the local pool stores (but I'm sure it's there). In Austin , BTW

    New SW Austin Pool Build

lol, I just had a pool school today, where my pool guy asked me when I was gonna seal my coping. I told him I didn't need to since it was some kind of colored stamped concrete. He laughs and says it's obviously natural limestone....which I had made certain my designer knew I didn't want. I...

    New SW Austin Pool Build

It's pretty, but it has too many rough areas that the polishers missed. It's hard to really like it until I can swim around for an hour and not hit a rough patch.

    Let's talk decking

That pic looks like stamped, which is what I wanted to put on my deck...until my PB told me not to waste my time, unless I like really hot feet mixed with a slippery surface. She said she gets mostly negative feedback from the ones they've installed.

    New SW Austin Pool Build

My GSP will get on the tanning ledge, lay down, chill out, etc. but absolutely no attempts at swimming. My Aussie will barely take a drink out of the pool, and only then if no one is anywhere near him at the time. It's sad because my neighbors Aussie is a pool shark. He'll follow you off the...

    New SW Austin Pool Build

I have an impacted ear from swimming to deep, so haven't felt all that great. Anyway, pics. These guys are polishing and they missed several large spots. The WetEdge foreman finally showed up today to hear my complaints. He was telling me they'd have to drain the pool or wait to...

    Help me with Bids!--Austin,TX

Re: My First Bid--Austin,TX! Texas P&P did mine. It has taken a long time and there were a lot of delays, but I would have paid 10-20% more for this same pool setup from anyone else. If you can work with Danielle, she is great.

    New SW Austin Pool Build

I paid the add-on bill for the WetEdge/SprayDeck on July 3rd. You would assume that someone would call the plaster co. and say "Hey, this guy wants WetEdge X on Day X, just a heads up" but I'm betting that didn't happen. It's possible they did and the local WetEdge people are just lazy and...

    New SW Austin Pool Build

I am almost home. Maybe. The final CoA inspection passed Thursday, so I can tear down my old fence and put up the new one. Still waiting on the plaster/WetEdge. My foreman said they were starting Friday, then texted me Thursday night that WetEdge didn't have any of the surface I ordered in...

Electronic or Combination Fence Gate Lock

I'd like to keep my pool fence gate locked, but give my friends/family easy access when they want to swim. Anyone use something like this, where the gate can be unlocked by punching in a code? I'm not finding many reasonably priced residential options.

The Spray Deck is finally done and dried. I like the color/texture, but it's hard to see it in these pics. Looks great in real life though, just like the sample I posted.

    New SW Austin Pool Build

SprayDeck starts this morning and lasts till Wed. Hopefully the final CoA inspection passes on Thursday, WetEdge goes in Friday and I'm swimming Sunday. lol. I'll go back with my original estimate of swimming on 7/25. Any time before that would be nice but not breath holding. Every single time...

    New SW Austin Pool Build

I was at the PB office on 7/3 asking about a concrete overlay and Danielle (my sales girl) talked me out of it. She says everyone she talks to that has had it for a while complains that it burns their feet or it's too slippery from all the puddling. I told her the regular SprayDeck was a...
