New pool deck, anything to add?

I am getting my new pool deck poured in 2 weeks. I am wondering if there are any buried lines or anything I should think about adding before the deck is poured? I was thinking maybe wires for speakers, a hose line for a shower or anything else like that? Thanks Sent from my SM-G930V using...

    Balancing Water With Cover On

FC is 3. CH 300. TA 80. Ph 7.2. Copper 0. Iron 0. Dissolved solids 500. Phosphates 0. What should the FC be at to close? The ph should raise some with the calcium hypo I am using. Anything else I'm missing? Sent from my XT1060 using Tapatalk

    Balancing Water With Cover On

Thanks. We did a partial close with the pool company so we are responsible for draining, balancing chemicals and putting the cover on. They are responsible for blowing out the pipes and winterizing. Our fault we didn't get the water balanced earlier.. I have a proper test kit from this site so...

    Balancing Water With Cover On

All - We didn't get our water balanced in time and had a company come out and close our pool. It is a 30k gal gunite pool. I have a pump in the pool with a hose that runs to the other side of the pool, hoping this will be enough circulation for the chemicals we are and will be adding. We are...

Filling a pool that has popped slightly in the past - URGENT

If you were in my situation, what would you do? 1) plug the holes in the pool, take the pressure relief value off the drain valve and leave open and fill the pool, hoping to fill any possible void under the pool from the main drain with water that appeared to be trapped under the pool that was...

Filling a pool that has popped slightly in the past - URGENT

The water table doesn't seem terribly high. The water rushed out for a while when they initially drilled holes but no new water has come in for weeks. So a broke pipe could be a reason there is water trapped under there, or what about the fact that the pool popped a few inches on one side?

Filling a pool that has popped slightly in the past - URGENT

I believe the pool guy was talking about leaving the valve on the main drain open possibly to try to fill under the pool. I think he was most shocked at the amount of water and pressure that came out of the drilled holes when they were draining. He has some concern that a possible void may be...

Filling a pool that has popped slightly in the past - URGENT

Hey everyone, We bought a house with an older gunite pool and the deep end of the pool popped a few inches years before we moved in. This year, we hired a company to drain the pool, drill holes, redo tiles and build up the wall so everything appears level. Initially, when the company was...

Need help and ideas for an inground pool redo!

Sorry - maybe I wrote it wrong. The old deck is still in and was planning on replacing the lines after the tearout next year and before the new deck goes in. I haven't asked about a hydrostatic relief value but will mention it to him and see what he says. Thanks for all of the help!

Need help and ideas for an inground pool redo!

Some of you guys were right. I had some pool experts come out and they believe the pool popped in the deep end, which caused the pool level to change and separate from the concrete deck over time. The solution now is to (this year) have the coping and tile redone and leveled by adding to the...

Need help and ideas for an inground pool redo!

Thanks for the reply. I am no pool expert but have talked to several people and said that the integrity of the pool structure is good. I am not sure what led to the popping of the pool, if that is what happened. If you believe the most glaring issues is the level of the pool, then how would...

    Shifting Cement Issues around Pool

Does anyone else have any recommendations on how to fix this instead of busting up and installing new concrete? Would a fill in with quikcrete work. I would leave a 1" gap between the coping and quickcrete and then fill with a foam rod and self leveling caulk. Any thoughts on this?

    Shifting Cement Issues around Pool

Thanks for the info guys. I am worried that the new concrete won't match the rest if I repour. I also am not sure how long I will have the house for, thinking maybe 5 years or so. Anyone have other solutions that may work?

    Shifting Cement Issues around Pool

Hi everyone. I'm a new pool owner and purchased a house with an in-ground pool with some issues.
