We thought it had something to do with the fan, because when we replaced the hoses, it would work fine.....for a while. We had a tech out, who said the wiring was wrong on the unit when installed. It was shutting off when the pump turned off (it should have stayed on and had the fan cool it)...

The vinyl coat is subject to melting with high temperatures (it is only manufactured to withstand normal temperature swings, including standing in the hot summer sun). The heat shield will have to be spaced off the fence, otherwise the vinyl will melt to the shield.

We have the T4Rc and love it; it gets fine sediment to a few microns. We take the bag out after we take the unit out of the pool, turn it inside out, and clean it by spraying with a high pressure hose nozzle. Keeps the bag clean, and the pool stays really clean, too.

TO GADawgFan: I have the same problem with a Hayward 400ILDL2 model; the link provided by the other poster that showed the drawing had an an ingnition board only or a panel/bezel keypad; Did you replace one or both? I'm not sure what to order. Like yours, first year was fine, then downhill...
