I brushed and a few hours later checked my FC again. It was 13 and CC was 1. Added 58 oz of bleach. It looks like I am getting there, but the pool is still cloudy. There are still a few leaves I think, but most are out. I will check again tonight. Anything else I need to do?

I think I'm getting there. Just vacuumed some more. FC is 9 and CC is 1. Calculator says to add 174 oz so I'm off to do that. I am also going to brush. My husband wants to backwash again. What do you guys say?

Just check my FC. It is 11. Calculator says add 116 oz of bleach. I have been cleaning leaves out of the bottom off and on all day. I think I am getting there. My CC was 1.5. Didn't check anything else.

When I put 15 in the target, it still tells me not to add bleach. That's why I'm so confused. I know you are saying to still be adding bleach, but the calc says 0.

The pool calculator doesn't tell me to add bleach. Isn't that how you shock? Should I be shocking in the daytime when the sun is full on? I am confused.

It seems like all we have done is put bleach in that pool. It is looking a little better, though. However, it is kind of cloudy again. I have the sock with stabilizer hanging in front of the return. Could that be making it look cloudy? Our algae is going away slowly but surely.
