As I said, I've got another section of the deck framing up. And I actually made sure to get pictures yesterday evening when I got home. So without further ado.... It is an ongoing project that I will eventually finish. Just give me some time.

I'm pretty much certain the pump can handle it, I'm mainly concerned about the filter handling it without filtering out the chlorine. Now that I start thinking I wonder if the Intex cartridge would fit in the housing I have. The things that make you go hum?:confused:

I had to take my solar cover off and leave it off earlier this month. With it on, the air temp was around 96-98 while my pool temp was over 100. Now keeping the cover off the water temp stays around 92 while the air is over 100.

Thanks PAGirl, this is definitely an ongoing project. At least it's usable while it's still in progress. I've got another section of framing up for the deck, just haven't gotten any pictures yet. I'll do that one of these days when I think about while I'm outside.

I've got a Magnatek spa pump of unknown size sitting around and an extra whole house cartridge water filter. Does anyone know if these would work as a temporary setup for an Intex 16x48? I have my pool hard plumbed with through wall skimmer, but I can not stop the leaks at the Intex pump. I...

I second Kim's advice on hard plumbing with valves. If you use the PVC valves and don't want to restrict the flow through the valves (1 1/2" ball valves reduce to 1 1/4") use 2" ball valves with reducer bushings to 1 1/2" and you'll have 1 1/2" through the ball valves. Sent from my iPhone...
