I am glad you got the water checked as I didn't know. I got the same problem but I have no dealer by me that I know of. My control panel loses time and I have to manually run the pump. I suspect we both have bad boards. I am looking to purchase another brand of salt generator.

Have you tested the water itself for water content? I had the same problem this year with the salt cell. I did an acid was, then salt was low. Added to much salt based on reading from Aqua Logic. Checked salt reading by test strip, sure was too high. Need to test water, adjust salt, calibrate.

I have thought about that. I am just concerned how often I will have to pay to replace the board. How do I know it is not the control pad? How would I know my soldering fix did not work? The system just keep saying low salt, SWG inop.
