Just curious as to why over 50ppm for CYA? I thought the range should be 30-50ppm...

5:30 am FC 13 CC 1.5 Filter pressure rose from 16 psi to 20psi after adding the de (9 hours) Added 20 ounces of cal hypo 65% to bring fc to 16-17. Should be sunny today. I figure a 30-40% loss should keep me close to or above 10 fc.

It is usually sold as stabilizer or conditioner. There is CYA in dichlor and trichlor (stabilized chlorine) as well. You don't want to add too much though as the only way to remove it is draining some of the water and refilling. It does not evaporate or dissipate. What have you been using as...
