3hp Jandy FloPro VS w/ Ecotech EZ Controller issues

Ordered the Calimar3hp, but just got email it's on backorder with no ETA. Being over twice the cost for the same motor, would a 1.5 hp VS Black and Decker pump suffice for a 15,000gallon pool and a small waterfall?

3hp Jandy FloPro VS w/ Ecotech EZ Controller issues

Unfortunately it looks like the motor is fine, it's the electric control panel that is bad.

3hp Jandy FloPro VS w/ Ecotech EZ Controller issues

I purchased this pump 8yrs ago and has ran flawless since day one. Came home and saw the pool was not running, checked the pump and the screen display was showing the pump was working as it should but was not on. I shut off the power to reset and now the display will not turn on. But funny thing...

Valve position to circulate Pool and Spa simultaneously?

Correct the spa does not see much use but that will likely change soon. Having small children /work provided little time for use and just recently fired up the spa heater (20yrs old) and getting an error code. Kids are now older and the wife would like to use it more so a new heater is in the...

Valve position to circulate Pool and Spa simultaneously?

Gotcha, what prompted my original question is algae buildup/sediment in the spa. The fountain is not providing enough chlorine to keep the algae in the spa at bay.

Valve position to circulate Pool and Spa simultaneously?

Yeah that is for my Spa fountain, I typically adjust that depending on the activities of the day.

Valve position to circulate Pool and Spa simultaneously?

Thank you! Will this also allow suction from the spa?

Valve position to circulate Pool and Spa simultaneously?

Hello everyone, what position do my spa valves need to be to circulate both the pool and spa simultaneously? Would it be straight down with the "closed" pointed away from the equipment?

What BTU heater recommendation for in ground spa only?

What is the typical time,, say 1 hour? I do not see us getting in when it's that cold out, more like later Summer /early fall in Dallas , so say 65 degrees air temp.

What BTU heater recommendation for in ground spa only?

I currently have a gas Hayward Pool and spa heater that is 20yrs old and is giving me maintenance required errors. I'm looking to replace it with a smaller heater for the spa only as we never heat the pool in Texas. What BTU should I be looking for? Spa is roughly 825 gal. Thanks

    Algae in bottom pool drains

It was the first thing I tried.....great minds. :D. One drain I was able to get clean, the other is more stubborn. A chunk of debris broke loose and is partially occluding the one drain. I'll have to pick up new covers, get old ones off, clean drain and replace.

    Algae in bottom pool drains

Thanks, looking like this might be the best option. I cannot get them off (no screws) and may break them in the process trying to remove them.

    Algae in bottom pool drains

I'm just getting out of pool from trying to remove it to no avail. There are no screws holding it in place as you can seen in the pictures, tried to pull with pliers but didn't want to break them.
